We’re looking for qualified Electricians and Electrical Testers to join our team. Under the guidance of our Electrical Manager, you will be tasked with providing high-quality customer service whilst conducting varied electrical works from inspections to smoke detectors and rewires.
What we do at BPM
Provide high quality building maintenance to a wide variety of clients including Local Authorities, housing associations, commercial and private customers across the South West – primarily in Bath, Bristol and the surrounding areas.
We are currently looking to expand our Electrical team to work on contracts in Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire.
What you’ll be doing
- Inspection and testing of fixed wire circuits
- Carrying out rewires and installations
- Fire & intruder alarms, door entry systems, floodlight and other specialist work
- Producing NICEIC electrical certification and daily reports for our records
What you’ll bring:
Essential skills and qualifications
- 18th Edition (Level 3 Award in the Requirements Electrical Installations BS7671)
- NVQ 3 Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulations and codes
- High attention to detail
- Great organisation skills
- Computer literacy
- Full, clean driving licence
Desirable skills and qualifications
- 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing
- Level 3 Requirements for Maintenance of Electrical Equipment or any other electrical certification)
- Gold ECS card
- Mobile Elevating Work Platform IPAF certification
- PASMA
- Any other Health & Safety certification such as Manual Handling or Gas Safety Awareness
