BPM Contracting Services has today been awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme (EMS) Bronze Award by the Ministry of Defence for our support of the Armed Forces, including existing or prospective employees who are members of the community.
BPM is an Armed Forces-friendly organisation and is always open to employing reservists, armed forces veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), cadet instructors and military spouses/partners.
In June we signed the Armed Forces Covenant and made a series of pledges to provide employment support, engage in outreach and training with the Armed Forces Community and take part in MOD ceremonial activities.
We recognise that those who have served in the Armed Forces have sacrificed some civilian freedoms, have faced danger and, sometimes, suffered serious injury or death as a result of their duty. These individuals deserve our respect, support, and fair treatment. The award we have received today highlights our commitment to uphold these values.
