We are delighted to share that Shenzhen Atess Power Technology Co. Ltd has formally certified BPM to install the OZEV-approved EV charging points under the electric vehicle home charge and workplace charging scheme.
Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme (EVHS)
EVHS is a government grant that provides a 75% contribution to the cost of one charge point and its installation. The main requirement is that a person owns, leases, or has ordered a qualifying plug-in vehicle and has dedicated off-street parking at their property. A person may apply for two charge points at the same property if they have two qualifying vehicles. If these requirements are met, OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) offers a maximum grant of £350 (including VAT) per installation.
Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)
Run by OZEV, the scheme provides the grant of up to £350 (up to 75% of the cost) to businesses per charge point socket, with up to 40 charge points per business being allowed, for an effective cap of £14,000 per company.
The WCS is open to businesses, charities, and public sector organisations that meet the applicant eligibility and site eligibility criteria set out in the guidance for applicants.
